Unless otherwise stated, the positions and type of work that we are seeking on your behalf will be full-time, permanent posts, whereby the successful candidate will be contracted directly to the employing organization.

KIRS appreciate the need for a discrete service for our candidates on a professional level, as well as the importance of keeping the personal information of our candidates private. We will never use your information for any purpose other than in connection with the recruitment process or other named permissions you agree to give us.
What Type of Data Do We Collect?
The personal data that we collect from candidates is necessary to ensure the efficiency of the recruitment process. This data includes information such as your name, address, e-mail address, and career and education history, as well as your nationality and status to work in South Korea, which we are required to collect by law. Any other sensitive data is collected only so far as is necessary to ensure we meet legal requirements. By registering with us, you consent to us collecting and processing the data and, where necessary, disclosing this information to prospective employers in connection with the recruitment process. You accept and authorize KIRS to use the personal information collected from you to offer customized web features, an email newsletter, and, from time to time, special placement offers by email. You authorize KIRS to contact the university(ies) you attended to establish proof of your academic history and you authorize KIRS to inform your university of your current status with KIRS. Candidates can be assured that KIRS will not sell, trade or rent their personal information to third parties.

Your Information of Application
Once you provide your information of application to KIRS it will be made available to our specialist recruitment teams. Unless you request otherwise at the point of registration, your CV and other relevant information supplied by you may be sent or presented to prospective employers who we deem would be of interest to you, and who we deem may be interested in your skills and experience.
Applications for Specific Vacancies
If you have applied for a specific vacancy (or vacancies) through KIRS, the information you provide will be used to determine your suitability for the position and, if applicable, your CV will be presented to the client company with whom the vacancy is based. We will also consider whether your skills would be suited to other opportunities on which we are working and, unless you request otherwise, your details may be presented to additional prospective employers whom we deem would be of interest to you, and who we deem may be interested in your skills and experience.
A Level of Support
While KIRS shall endeavor to provide a reasonable amount of support and assistance to you if you are employed as a result of KIRS’ placement and recruiting services, any Teaching Contract shall be solely between you and the Contracting organization. KIRS is not responsible or liable for breach of a Teaching Contract by either party, nor for any situation, including school closure or bankruptcy of the Contracting organization that results in a Teaching Contract not being fulfilled. If you are terminated for any reason by a Contracting organization, it is not KIRS’ responsibility to rectify the situation or to find you alternative or interim employment.
KIRS does not guarantee placement nor is it obliged to continue service for renewing individuals. Placement is based on availability, qualifications, school preferences, and the performance history of an individual. If no position is able to be secured for an individual at the current time, KIRS will keep the applicant on file for possible future positions that may become available.
KIRS is not and shall not be responsible or liable for your transportation, accommodations or other services or products to be provided by the Contracting organization or any other third party in connection with the Activity and KIRS is not and shall not be liable for any other acts or omissions of such third parties.

You may be terminated by the contracting organization without KIRS incurring any liability. You may incur liability to KIRS under this Agreement if you engage in illegal acts abroad, break an employment Contract with a contracting organization or enter into a Teaching Contract in bad faith.
You fully and forever INDEMNIFY, RELEASE, WAIVE AND DISCHARGE, and COVENANTNOT TO SUE, KIRS, its directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, affiliates, sponsors, successors and assigns, from and for any and all demands, claims, actions, suits, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including, but not limited to, court costs and attorneys’ fees), from any cause whatsoever (including, but not limited to, travel delays, property damage and loss, bodily injuries, sickness, disease and death), whether directly or indirectly arising in connection with your participation in the KIRS recruiting and placement process and the Activity, whether or not foreseeable or contributed to by the negligent acts or omissions of KIRS or others
